A student branch of the Friends of the Princeton University Library was formed in fall 2005 to expand participation in Friends activities to Princeton students and tailor new programs specifically to their interests.
The Student Friends of Princeton University Library (SFPUL) is a student-run group that contributes to the mission of the Friends and promotes intellectual curiosity through the exploration and discovery of books, libraries, and collections, with a dedicated emphasis on Princeton University Library’s holdings. We organize a combination of on- and off-campus events throughout the academic year, including lectures and guest presentations, tours of special collections at Princeton and elsewhere, and trips to exhibitions in the greater metropolitan area. We also distribute announcements of PUL programming and related opportunities, such as the annual call for submissions to the Elmer Adler Undergraduate Book Collecting Prize.
Membership is open to all Princeton University students.
